Digital Project Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Manager to join the Project Management Team.


So where do you fit in?

We are looking for a passionate, hospitality-loving, talented Digital Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. Working within the Project Management Team, and reporting to the Production Director


The day-to-day: Typically, a digital project manager will be:

  • Holding internal stand ups / project meeting to discuss status, risks and priorities

  • Liaising with stakeholders to obtain information, and provide status reports

  • Collaboration with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects

  • Writing detailed briefs for tickets in JIRA (a project management and ticking platform) to be completed in a sprint / future sprints

  • Leading internal meetings during a project, ensuring actions are noted and followed up

  • Liaising and updating stakeholders on project status, risks and changes

  • Advising clients on cost, available resources, problems and solutions

  • Meeting clients on site (some travel will be involved to our client hotels)

  • Tracking the project deliverables and matching those with agreed deadlines

  • Reporting on success criteria for delivered projects by measuring results

  • Keeping track of latest digital campaign trends and analysing digital behaviour

Key responsibilities

  • Management of project lifecycle from client brief to delivery.

  • Collaborating with the other project managers to plan achievable time frames for projects and achievable workloads for teams.

  • Creating and maintaining all project artifacts

  • Leading project onboarding to ensure all requirements are gathered from sales and the client.  Taking time to fully understand the scope of the project.

  • Leading project meetings (internal and external).  Capturing actions and following up with the relevant parties. Regularly sharing risk, status logs and changes to project plans with key stakeholders

  • Managing scope change. Providing quotes for client changes, and managing the project plan accordingly.

  • Administration of JIRA and Accelo (our business automation platform) to ensure time against project is fully tracked and monitored.

  • Writing JIRA tickets for work to be completed with accurate detail and estimates

  • Ensuring the overall project process is followed correctly.

  • Encouraging and educating teams in agile methods such as limiting work in progress, swarming, collaboration and regular communication to deliver work on time and efficiently.

Key skills & relevant experience

  • Background in digital project management

  • Evidence of working with Agile project management methodologies

  • Proven experience of effectively managing large-scale projects from brief through to delivery

  • Adept at building effective client relationships and working with several stakeholders to deliver targets.

  • Strong communication with confident presentation skills, an ability to translate from in-house technical functionality into layman's terms for clients, report writing and data analysis capabilities

  • Ability to work under pressure, work flexibly and change direction when required and work on a range of client projects at the same time

  • Passion for IT, e-commerce and digital projects

  • Creative flair and innovative approach

  • Knowledge of Wordpress an advantage

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Project management certification a bonus
